I heard you on Eddie Stubbs's radio wsm on the internet, I love bluegrass music, right now I am learning the dobro, my cousin Edgar Loudermilk plays bass with "Third Tyme Out" I used to have a bluegrass band out on the east coast. I play 5 string bango and lead guitar. I hope to hear from you guys!

Our hearts and prayers go out to the family on your Dad's passing.
Howdy everybody, I only wanna send regards from Germany to all the Bluegrass people. And I have a request to the Gibson Brothers or anyone else. We have a Bluegrass-Country Band here in Germany. The Kraichgau Buffalos. Is it possible to get the lyrics from "City Water"? I hope this request is not outrageous.
Regards from Germany
Yours
Doc Wuki
I saw Mud's comment about "Farm of Yesterday" and went to the guestbook to see what he meant. I heard recently that your Dad wasn't doing well. I didn't know that he had passed. I read your journal post and the tears just flowed. I am so sorry to read about your loss. Even though I have never met your Mom or Dad; through your music, I feel like I know so much about your family. Two weeks ago, I was thinking what an honor it would be to meet both of them. All their hard work and commitment to raising a family certainly paid off. All their children having made a lasting impact on this world and for that I am forever grateful. Seeing Eric, Leigh and Erin Gibson playing and singing this wonderful music will always be among my most cherished memories.
Hi, Guys The Best Christmas present I got this year was finding out that you guys were going to be in Portland, ME this March. And tonight I checked your schedule and found out you are going to be at Saddleback and Thomas Point Beach. Thanks for remembering your fans up here in New England. Someone asked me one time if I ever got sick of seeing so many of your shows. My quick response was, "I could see those guys play once (or twice) a week for 52 weeks a year and never get sick of seeing them!" And that's the truth. Thanks for all you do for this great American art form that is called, "Bluegrass music!" See you next month and GO Patriots!!!
Just heard Eric on KDHX, St. Louis. Love the Gibson Brothers' music and WISH they would play in the St. Louis area. See you will be in Branson in May. Hope to see you there.
Hello Eric. Thank you for posting your most personal notes about "Farm of Yesterday" ... it is so heartwarming to hear your words and to live and share the love of your/our own Dad9s) (catchin my drift here??) ... many of us can relate ... I know I speak for many others when I thank you for being so honest and speaking from the heart ... you have a way with that!! Keep it comin, bro!!
Peace to you ... you are a good man
Eric and Leigh,
I was one of the many lucky ones to be in the auditorium the other night in Chazy. I knew it would be a hard night knowing that your dad passed away two weeks to the day. I was wondering if you would sing Farm Of Yesterday, I remember the year before you played it for him as he sat in the front row. When you started the song I was thinking how are they able to do this, then I realized you were not alone. There was a higher force with you at that moment and as you played from the heart and payed tribute to your dad in song, as you were sharing this love from deep within, In true fashion, the people of the North Country were giving back their love ten fold. That's what makes this place such a great place to live. Thank you so much for sharing not only on the stage but in your journal.
Sorry to post so soon after my last but I wanted to say Congratulations on your nominations for the SPBGMA Awards! Lynwood Lundsford posted the nominees to the Banjo Hangout and you guys are nominated for several. Way to Go, Gibsons!
Sure glad someone in the crowd reminded you to remove your gloves at the start of your concert in Chazy lastnite. You guys sure were awesome!!! Eric, after my wife asked you for a pic for her guitar she told me that Leigh said that if she asked you for a pic that she would sound almost as good as you, HAHA!, if you gave her one of yours!
